I need .xbd (or .xbd2) files for WARP v3 board. Please help me in getting those files.

Thank you.

There is no XBD for WARP v3 (see this thread). The template projects or one of our reference designs are the best places to start.

Re: xbd file for WARPv3 virtex-6 FPGA board (xc6vlx240tff1156-2)

From the template project, I open the design (system.xmp) in xps, now I want to remove the custom peripherals (pcores) and add my ip for my application. How can I do it ?

I tried deleting the files from the pcore sub-directory but there was error in again opening the design (system.xmp) in xps showing that those pcore files were missing.

Thanx.

Did you do the XPS tutorial

In general, XPS will error out if anything in the system.mhs file is not consistent (ie ports do not match the mpd description for the peripheral; XPS cannot find a peripheral; etc.).  Fortunately, the system.mhs file is human readable text and can be edited with a standard text editor.  If you get into a situation where you can no longer open the design in XPS, you can always manually edit the system.mhs to resolve the error.

I deleted the begin-end block of the custom ip from the system.mhs file in xps... the ip has been removed and no more errors in reopening the xps... problem solved.
thanx.
