= WARPLab 6 Benchmarks =

The performance of WARPLab can be expressed in the time required to transfer data to and from the FPGA.

The two important metrics are the time to update a parameter in the radio setup and the time for a complete over-the-air transmission.

The time for a parameter setup is 15 ms.

Time to complete a full data transmission. The time for filling up the Tx buffer and reading the Rx buffer depends on number of samples transmitted (max of 2^14^ per radio). For a SISO link where one full buffer is written to and read from, it takes 2300 ms to complete the transaction. Additional radios will take increased time.
