External clock source?

Is the WARP platform capable of accepting an external clock source? If
so what are the frequency, voltage, power ranges it can accept?

Re: External clock source?

But I still did not find where the voltage and power ranges parameters are described for the acceptable external clocks.

Re: External clock source?

The off-board inputs on the Clock Board are tied to pins on the AD9510 clock buffers (via 1:1 transformers, for single-ended to differential conversion). You can find the min/max acceptable voltages in the AD9510 datasheet. For frequencies, the RF reference clock must be 20 or 40MHz. The sampling clock can theoretically be in [1,65]MHz (the acceptable speeds for the AD9248-65 ADC). In practice, the speed depends on both the ADC requirements and your FPGA design (i.e. meeting min/max requirements for your clocking circuits, etc.).
