The notion of a time slot is not embedded in the WARP hardware or reference designs. You will need to implement the required timer/handshaking/synchronization procedures for your application. You can en/disable Tx/Rx anytime from code using the associated radio_controller calls, just as the OFDM and WARPLab reference designs do.
