invalid registry for Cygwin?

I installed Xilinx ISE 8.2i and EDK 8.2i on a PC with Vista, and when I try to "update bitstream" for OFDM_referenceDesign_v02, I got the following error:

" At Local date and time: Tue Sep 04 12:26:35 2007
xbash -q -c "cd /cygdrive/e/Documents/research/599/WARP/OFDM_ReferenceDesign_v02/; /usr/bin/make -f system.make init_bram; exit;" started...
ERROR: The system was unable to find the specified registry key or value.

mount: /usr/bin: Permission denied

mount: /usr/lib: Permission denied

mount: /: Permission denied

mount: /cygdrive: Permission denied

Xilinx EDK detected Invalid Registry entries for Cygwin. The following registries will now be corrected.

Deleting Cygwin Registry entries for HKEY_CURRENT_USER: "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cygnus Solutions\Cygwin\mounts v2\/usr/bin"Installing Cygwin from EDK installation area...
Added registry entries for C:\EDK\cygwin

bash.exe: warning: could not find /tmp, please create!
/cygdrive/c/EDK/cygwin/bin/bash: /usr/bin/make: No such file or directory

Done! "

Could anyone give me any guidance? Thanks a lot!

Re: invalid registry for Cygwin?

A few things:

-The "Permission denied" errors are a problem; you may need to run the tools from a local administrator account.

-I believe Xilinx only started supporting Vista in ISE 9.1, so v8.2 may simply not work.
