Problem initializing WARP boards for WARLAB........

I downloaded the warplab_siso.bit to the boards. The setup was EXACTLY as you mentioned on the webpage. But the LCD's failed to show the '0' and '1' indication. Also, the Ethernet connector failed to light up (no active link?). The setup is not working. Kindly help.

Re: Problem initializing WARP boards for WARLAB........

If your kits are configured to use the FPGA board's oscillator (I think yours are), you have to use the alternate WARPLab bitstream warplab_siso_50MHzsampling.bit (for details, see this previous post).

Re: Problem initializing WARP boards for WARLAB........

We have a clock board on the WARP (v1.2 of the FPGA board). Anyway, the problem when using the 50 MHz bitstream is that the Ethernet link is always in an idle(orange as indicated by our switch) state. So nothing happens on running the 50 MHz GUI.

Kindly help. Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,
Kshitij

Re: Problem initializing WARP boards for WARLAB........

Your clock boards do not have 40MHz oscillators, so you must use the warplab_siso_50MHzsampling.bit file to use WARPLab.

After downloading the bitstream and connecting boards via Ethernet to a PC, you should be able to ping the WARP nodes (10.0.0.1, 10.0.0.2, etc.).
