Can WARP HW be useful to design Software-Defined Radio?

Can this WARP Hardware will be useful to design a Software-Defined Radio(SDR) . If yes, pls suggest me which modules are required to test(SDR). If no, pls suggest me is there any general purpose Hardware is available to design and test SDR.

Re: Can WARP HW be useful to design Software-Defined Radio?

WARP can be used for building wireless systems with custom algorithms at every layer, including the physical layer. Most PHY implementations will target the FPGA fabric, which is better thought of as targeting hardware than software.

Please look through the documentation and reference material in the WARP Repository to get a better idea of what WARP is capable of.
