processing time(direct vs one hop)

Hi

I performed an experiment for measuring processing time(time after the transmission to receiving ack) in case of direct transmission and via relay trasmission.

for direct its around 100microsec
for via relay its 1000microsec.

for 700bytes UDP packet

its a huge difference.do u think these results are normal or somthing is wrong.

thanks

Re: processing time(direct vs one hop)

This isn't the sort of thing we can judge remotely. You have everything you need to determine exactly where delays are occurring in your link. You can observe the Tx/Rx signals at each node, or use the GPIO core in the reference design to assert a digital output inside certain critical interrupt service routines. Using these signals, you can measure exactly how long each operation takes at each node.
