AGC mdl file

Hi,
In OFDM reference design for WARP2 there is no mdl file for AGC core. Is the one available in WARPLab is the same as the one in OFDM reference design? Or How can I have it?

Re: AGC mdl file

The AGC models for the OFDM Reference Design and older versions of WARPLab are not publicly available, due to an old NDA between Rice and Maxim. We (Mango) designed a new AGC core from scratch for WARPLab 7.5 and the 802.11 ref design. These new AGC cores are in the public repository.

Re: AGC mdl file

So is it possible to use this new AGC core for OFDM reference design?

Re: AGC mdl file

It's certainly possible, but is not something we have attempted. The inputs/outputs are very similar between the cores (start in, I/Q in, I/Q out, RF gain out, BB gain out, RXHP out). The software interfaces (register map) are completely different. The AGC driver use in the 802.11 or WARPLab ref designs would be a good guide for setting up the core in a custom OFDM ref design project.
