Hi all,
I’m happy to announce that we have posted a new in-depth tutorial on building a custom MAC layer with the 802.11 Reference Design. In this tutorial, we walk through the steps to modify the 802.11 design to implement a token-passing MAC algorithm. These modifications require only C-code changes and require no modifications to the FPGA design.
