About SIFS and DIFS

I have read the codes of 802.11 Reference Design and I can't find codes for functions like waiting for SIFS time or waiting the channel idle for DIFS time. How are those functions implemented? Is it possible to adjust the value of SIFS and DIFS?

Re: About SIFS and DIFS

All IFS (inter-frame space) timers are implemented in the FPGA fabric, in the wlan_mac_hw core. The timers start and stop automatically in response to medium events. The duration of every IFS time is set by the MAC C code. The reference design defines the standard IFS values in wlan_mac_low.h.
