Our WARP boards / European Commission stand (Mobile World Congress'16)

Just for the record, we brought our three WARPv3 Kit boards to show a hardware-implemented demo by METIS II project at the European Comission Stand at Mobile World Congress 2016. We demonstrated new waveforms candidates, and the impact of these waveforms when there is not synchronicity between transmitters, which is of special relevance for car to car communications. The demo showed that a proper fitting of waveforms in a software-defined framework would permit increasing the range of communication between cars, paving the way for the real development of collision avoidance messages.

Andrus Ansip, Vice President for the Digital Single Market on the European Commission, and Commissioner Günther H. Oettinger of Digital Economy & Society, among others, attended the event.

Fortunately I somehow managed to avoid being taken a picture. :)

Re: Our WARP boards / European Commission stand (Mobile World Congress'16)

hi David- thanks for sharing. Looks like a great demo. We'd be happy to add this to the list of papers & presentations by WARP users. Is there a writeup we can link to, or even just preferred title/authors?
