Error in installing USB firmware

I am trying to setup the WARP board. (following the 'getting started' from the warp site)
I am using my laptop and am using a USB to serial converter, (i have installed the drivers for these)

When i connect the cables (usb-> serial -> serial & usb a -> usb b) between the  laptop and the WARP borad, and then turn the master power switch on,
I am facing problems in installing the xilinx embedded usb firmware.

When i try to look online for the drivers, windows says this
{
"Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it"

Xilinx USB cable

A service installation sections in this INF is invalid
}
I have windows Vista home premium as my OS
I have installed Xilinx 9.2i and EDK 9.2i

Please let me know how i can get my PC to recognize and install drivers for the devices on board.

Thanks and Regards,
Abishek

Re: Error in installing USB firmware

This sounds like a problem between the Xilinx USB cable drivers and Windows Vista. We don't have any experience with Vista. Your best bet is to follow up with Xilinx support (maybe via their forums).
