About 802.11 ref. design

Dear Sir,

We have configured WARP as AP.
Is it possible to use Notebook as client which it can do iperf and socket programming
related experiments. (Because we don't have enough WARPv3.)

Best Regards
Paul

Re: About 802.11 ref. design

Yes - the 802.11 ref design AP supports associations by Wi-Fi clients. In order to use iperf you must connect the AP's ETH A port to an Ethernet network, then run iperf on a PC connected to the same network. The 802.11 ref code does not implement any IP-layer functions - it acts as a layer-2 bridge between the wireless and wired networks.
