Selection of 1 TX Channel

Can I setup my WARP 802.11 Ref Design PHY to a default channel so it selects the same frequency channel every time (without having to select one from a group of available channels) ?

Re: Selection of 1 TX Channel

The AP project will boot an create a BSS on whatever channel is specified by the WLAN_DEFAULT_BSS_CONFIG_CHANNEL definition at the top of the file. You can change that C code and reconfigure the board if you want the node to boot into a particular channel without having to use wlan_exp to change the channel.

Note: the STA and IBSS projects have the additional subtlety that they each perform an active scan looking for a BSS at boot. As such, that change channels as a function of time. You can disable this active scan behavior with the User I/O dip switch.
