Implementing RouTinG

Hi fellows,
Nice to see such a useful forum on such a interesting topic. We have started on WarP offlate and thinking of implementing routing logic on the Wireless platform i.e
so far the routing is happening/done by the PC as the Ethernet packets are sent to the PC and the Routing protocols are in the PC stacks. we would like to push this routing logic to the wARp platform and avoid the same thing happening in the PC.

Has any body done any feasibility analysis on such a experimentation, if not would any of you kindly help us out in our experimentation .
like
1) Does this help in improving the time factor during the routing procedure( as compared to PC routing).
2) Will it be better to port a OS that already has a TCP/IP stack (Is it possible to port a linux kernel into warp platform)
