I have generated a QPSK model in Simulink using System Generator,then i generated the pcores for that model.How can i get the XMP file to start with XPS for this model?

The xmp/mhs files are part of a Xilinx Platform Studio (XPS) design. Your QPSK Tx/Rx model is one more - you must integrate this core with many others to realize a complete FPGA design. Our tutorials and reference designs are a good starting point; Xilinx's own documentation is also helpful for learning XPS.
