error in spectrum sensing codes

Dear Sir

We have 2 WARP v3 virtex 6 boards in our lab. We are trying to run the examples of Spectrum Sensing in Cognitive Radio Networks as given in the "Cognitive Wireless Networking with WARP" workshop held in Aachen, Germany in 2011. We downloaded the workshop exercises from this link <http://warpproject.org/trac/browser/ResearchApps/PHY/WARPLAB/WARPLab_v05_2/WorkshopExercises> and the supporting files from  WARPLab Reference Design v5.2.
However, when we run the workshop codes, we get " No ACK Received -  Connection has timed out" and error in warplab_readSMRO (line 12)

How can we rectify this. Please help and let me know if you need further details.

Thanks and Regards

Re: error in spectrum sensing codes

Those 2011 workshop exercises are *very* old - we cannot offer support for that code or the WARPLab 5.2 design. In fact the WARPLab 5.2 design is many years older than WARP v3 hardware (WARPLab 6.2 was the first version supported on WARP v3 hardware).

I recommend getting started with the modern WARPLab Reference Design (currently v7.7.1 for WARP v3 hardware). The WARPLab 7 design includes many example scripts. Once you're familiar with these examples, you can create your own scripts implementing the cognitive wireless scheme described in that old workshop exercise.
