We are planning to implement TDMA MAC on WARP hardware which we can use for higher layers. Will there by any issues in this work like can we get the desired switching time(from transmitting mode to receiving mode or vice versa).

Building a TDMA MAC should be entirely possible.
The Tx-Rx turnaround is dominated by the radio transceiver's settling time. For the MAX2829 (the transceiver on the WARP radio board), this is around 1.2µs (see pg. 12 of the MAX2829 datasheet). This mode switch is handled by our radio controller core.
