Hi,

How can we calculate PHY and MAC layer throughput as Iperf gives only the application-layer throughput?

iperf in udp mode employs no rate control, so it will measure the throughput of whatever link it uses. You can isolate just the PHY by using a simple MAC (like nomac.c), then use iperf to measure just the PHY throughput.
