ACK with auto responder in VII WARP

I notice that with VII WARP, the ACK is done with an auto responder. Now we need to modify ACK. Can we update the ACK before the auto responder? Or, can we disable the auto responder?

Re: ACK with auto responder in VII WARP

The auto-responders were added in OFDM reference design v13, and are used by CSMAMAC in both v13 and v14 for both versions of the WARP FPGA board.

We built the subsystem to reduce the DATA-ACK turnaround time, and to eliminate its jitter. This was part of our cooperative implementation (discussed in this paper). While the reference design only uses it for ACKs, any response packet whose contents are known a-priori can be sent using the same system.

The PHY auto-response subsystem has its own documentation. You can customize all of its behaviors (matching conditions, response packet contents, etc.). And you can disable it completely; the software-driven packet transmission flow still works.
