ltg_sched_periodic_params is being used in the LTG_SCHED_TYPE_UNIFORM_RAND case in ltg_sched_start_l. Is this on purpose?

Nope, I think the use of "ltg_sched_periodic_params" in this line is a bug; it should be "ltg_sched_uniform_rand_params". Looks like that clause is only executed when the uniform-random-schedule LTG is configured with a finite duration. Thanks for pointing this out - I just committed the fix.
