Requirements & Setup
This section details the hardware, software and setup requirements for the Base System Builder exercise.
Hardware Requirements
A PC with:
-DB9 serial port
-USB port
A WARP FPGA board (version 1.2 or version 2.2) with power supply.
Software Requirements
Xilinx Tools:
ISE 10.1 (with service pack 2 and IP update 2)
EDK 10.1 (with service pack 2)
A terminal emulator (like Tera Term Pro)
Setup
Download a copy of the WARP EDK repository as detailed on the website.
Connect the WARP FPGA board serial and USB configuration interfaces to your PC.
