    1 Verify that a serial cable has been connected between the WARP FPGA board and the Windows PC.  Open the terminal emulator application on the PC, and set its operating parameters to 9600 baud, 8 data bits, one stop bit, no parity.  The following screen shot illustrates a correct configuration for the Tera Term Pro terminal emulator application.
     1This section requires valid USB and serial communication links between the WARP FPGA board and the Wndows PC on which the Xilinx software tools ar being run.  If you need help establishing these connections, please refer to the appropriate exercise : WARP FPGA Board Introduction.  Open a terminal emulator application on the PC, and set its operating parameters to 9600 baud, 8 data bits, one stop bit, no parity.  The following screen shot illustrates a correct configuration for the Tera Term Pro terminal emulator application.

    5 From the Device Configuration menu at the top of the XPS main window, select "Download Bitstream".
     5Verify that no other Xilinx software applications (i.e. IMPACT) are contending for access to the WARP board's USB connection.  If IMPACT is currently open, close it.  From the Device Configuration menu at the top of the XPS main window, select "Download Bitstream".
