Can anyone has EDK 13.4 do me a big favor?

I am using WARPLab v6.01, and I need to change both the radio and the logic reference clock source to be external.
But my license does not support EDK13.4, and to update license take 15 working days, which is too long for me.
Can anyone do me a favor, the process is simple.

1 download WARPLab_ReferenceDesign_4x4_v06_01_FPGAv2 from the website
2 find and open WARPLab_ReferenceDesign_4x4_v06_01_FPGAv2\pcores\clock_board_config_v1_05_a\dataclock_board_config_v2_1_0.mpd

3 in that file, find line 37 and 38, Change the paramater value to 1.
4 recompile this project in XPS
5 recompile the software in SDK.

send me the final bit file to ydu@smu.edu

Thank you very much.

Re: Can anyone has EDK 13.4 do me a big favor?

In the transition from WARPLab 6.2 to WARPLab 6.3, we added dip switch control of clocking (seen in the 6.3 MHS file here). The dip switch on the radio board in slot 2 (bottom left) controls the clocking for the whole node. Would upgrading to 6.3 for WARP v2 work for you? The download is here.

Re: Can anyone has EDK 13.4 do me a big favor?

Just to clarify- starting with WARPLab v6.3 for WARP v1/v2, the RF and sampling clock sources can be selected using the bottom two DIP switch positions on the Radio Board in slot 2. I believe the RF clock is selected by the bottom switch, the sampling clock by the next one up. These switches are sampled only at configuration time- you must re-download the bitstream to change a clock source. These switches override the parameters set in the XPS project (actually, in DIP-switch-selection-mode the clock_board_config core ignores the clk_source parameters completely and uses only the DIP switch setting).

It works as I want, thank you very much.
by the way, the link for downloading w2_WARPLab_v6p3_4rf.bit is mis-spelled, leading to a "HTTP not found" warning when we try to download it.

It should be: http://warp.rice.edu/dl/refdes/warplab/ … p3_4rf.bit
(the"v6p2" in the link should be"v6p3")

Thanks

Great, glad to hear it's working. Thanks for the typo note- it's fixed.
