Info on MATLAB/SIMULINK

Hi All,

We have recently purchased new WARP boards. We are in the process of ordering MATLAB for setting up the development environment. It would be really helpful if we could get pointers about what MATLAB/Simulink toolboxes (communication, signal processing etc.)  are necessary for this.
We could not find much information about this on the WARP webiste. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks much.

Re: Info on MATLAB/SIMULINK

No toolboxes or blocksets are strictly required to use the models and code from the repository. The PHY models require only Simulink & System Generator. WARPLab requires just MATLAB (and the open-source TCP/IP toolbox).

But for developing new PHY stuff, a couple of toolboxes/blocksets are very useful. The communications blockset and toolbox are very handy, even when building a model in Sysgen. For example, the comm blockset has a scatter plot sink that helps visualize constellations much more easily then with the X-Y sink included with Simulink. It also provides functions for mod/demod that speed comm system construction in WARPLab. The signal processing toolbox & blockset are also very useful (for constructing/characterizing filters, etc.).
