ML605 FMC card

Hi,

I am trying to use a FMC card (FMC150) for WARP V3; the card works for ML605.

Are the pin mappings the same (between the FMC and FPGA) for both WARP V3 and ML605 boards?

Thank you.

No.

The WARP v3 FMC interface is detailed in the user guide, which includes the pin map in UCF format.

Re: ML605 FMC card

Hi murphpo, in order to make FMC150 work on WARP v3, what else do we need besides the ucf pinout? Do we have to obtain the IP cores or other things?

We've never used the FMC150, so I can't give specific instructions. You will definitely need to customize the FPGA design to implement the interfaces required by the ICs on the FMC150 module. These interfaces definitely include the data busses for the ADCs and DACs, plus whatever control and clock signals the converters require. The module manufacturer may have a reference design you can use to understand the interface requirements.
