Enabling RFB in Ref 802.11

Hi,
Is there a way to enable RFB for receiving, while RFA transmits?
I noted that RFB receives always, except RFA transmits.
I'm working with Reference version 1.3

Thanks in advance,

Alice

The WLAN_DEFAULT_TX_ANTENNA and WLAN_DEFAULT_RX_ANTENNA macros are defined at the top-level of the AP/STA/IBSS applications. These macros configure the default antennas for all Tx and Rx. You can further customize antenna selection with wlan_exp (relevant docs).

Yes, but.... https://warpproject.org/forums/viewtopic.php?id=3127

Either of the reference designs (WARPLab or 802.11) can transmit through RFA and receive through RFB, but only the WARPLab design can do both at the same time.

The 802.11 Reference Design is not full duplex -- at any given instant, it can transmit or it can receive. It cannot do both simultaneously

However, I solved! :)

Re: Enabling RFB in Ref 802.11

We posted an app note a few months ago demonstrating how to modify the 802.11 ref code and NoMAC to operate in FDD mode: FDD-NoMAC app note.

You will need to update to a recent 802.11 ref design to use the code in the app note (we have improve *a lot* in the 2 years since we released v1.3 - please consider upgrading).
