Is anyone doing separate WARP project into two Tx and Rx

Hi All,
The WARP project cores are too big to demonstrate on a Xilinx Spartan3 types boards. Maybe, a logical choice to break up to two parts Tx and Rx. I'm wondering how difficult to implement, the complexity. Anyone trying to do this? Please sharing your experience. Thanks for your advice.

Splitting the transceiver is certainly possible. However, the Rx will be considerably larger than the Tx. I also suspect the Rx will be too large for a Spartan-3 device. The PHY is also designed to require a processor (either PPC or MicroBlaze) in order operate.

Re: Is anyone doing separate WARP project into two Tx and Rx

Hi,
Thank you very much for your advice. As you suggest, maybe Tx portion can be a Xilinx Spartan3A-DSP board, and Rx portion maybe a virtex 4 board. As a newbie, the Tx and Rx portions separation is too complex for me. Is anyone can help me out to do this? I will compensate with a project fee. Anyone interested? please recommend me.

Thanks for your help !!
