When I first connect the PC with the WARP board, thru USB port, the windows XP find the hardware and I select the "Install the software automatically" to install the USB driver. However, it is always installed as a USB serial converter, instead of the expected "Xilinx FPGA Platform firmware loader". Thus the iMPACT test also showed that the "can not find the cable".
I am doing the connection based on the guide http://warp.rice.edu/trac/wiki/Exercise … unication.
Please help me on it. THanks!

Just found that I connect the PC to the UART #1 port, which is not for use of FPGA Loader.

The xilinx FPGA loader and iMPACT test succeed this time when I connect to USB port besides the SysACE JTAG port.
Really confusing. I am using the WARP V2 Board, but the guide in the wbbsite really shows me that USB used for the FPGA loader is at the corner of the board....

The FPGA Board v2 has two USB connectors. One (lower-left side) connects to the chips emulating a Xilinx Platform USB JTAG cable; the other (upper-right side) connects to the USB-serial interface.
