New daughter card?

What is the daughter card on top of the flash disk in this picture? Thanks.

We call it the User I/O daughtercard. It has a 128x128 LCD screen, LEDs, a buzzer, trackball and a bunch of push buttons. It was an undergrad design project last semester. We've only built a few but will make them available once we've built more.
